Introducing Our Coaching Staff

Coach Michael Grba
Coach Jeska Grba
My journey in sports began on the lacrosse field, where I played at the collegiate level and developed a deep love for competition, teamwork, and growth. When I became a mother, that same drive and curiosity led me to soccer — a game that quickly captured my heart. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about the sport, its culture, and its power to shape young athletes both on and off the field.
What began as a personal passion soon became a lifelong purpose: to help children experience soccer in its truest form — creative, confident, and full of joy.
Over the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching at the recreational, academy, and select levels, as well as leading countless training programs, camps, and clinics. My coaching philosophy centers on developing skill and understanding while inspiring each player to express themselves freely through the game.
Every player deserves the chance to grow in an environment that challenges, supports, and celebrates them — and that’s exactly what I strive to create every time I step on the field.
Big respect to Calle for backing the movement and helping us push the game to the next level. Their support fuels the streets, empowering players to express their style, creativity, and passion.
The Calle Story
Inspired by their experiences playing soccer in the streets of Spain, Brazil, Bolivia, and Mexico, a group of college soccer friends bootstrapped Calle in 2006 in a Provo, Utah basement. In the beginning, the founders were selling balls and tees from their cars to camp kids and local soccer shops.
By 2010, the brand grew to be sold in over 120+ shops across the country, Soccer.com and a few international buyers. Small local events turned into bigger collaborative events with Red Bull, EA Sports, Pepsi, Steve Nash Foundation and Ziggy Marley to name a few.
In 2012, after six years of grind, the brand unfortunately had to hang up its boots. The Great Recession had taken its toll on the local soccer shops leaving many without an ability to pay. While the brand had connections now globally in street soccer, assets were diverted into a new project and Calle fades away.
In August 2022, after a decade hiatus, brand co-founder Travis Winn relaunches Calle with some original designs in a downtown SLC office. The brand's mission remains the same: to produce goods for that play anytime and anywhere crowd.
With a renewed passion to change the game from the bottom up, Calle donates 10% of proceeds to non-profit Free the Game to build street courts around America. With the mission of making the beautiful game accessible to all, Calle remains anchored to its core values.
With three street courts in STL designed by the brilliant Jayvn Solomon, two in SLC, our latest one in Austin with the help of Barrio FC and many more planned in 2025, we're just getting started. Follow us on IG and TikTok @callepigeon to follow our journey as we free the game throughout America.

Our Street Story
Michael and Jeska met on the soccer field in 2016, where their shared passion for the game sparked not only a partnership in coaching club soccer but also the start of their growing family. In 2018, they founded Next Level with a mission to bring freedom and creativity to the game on a hard court. They also created an independent soccer club. Next Level FC is dedicated to bringing this unique experience on the field. With no coaching fees, we believe in making the game accessible for all. Join us as we grow our family and foster a love for soccer together!
